Chief Medical Officer

One of the nation’s foremost authorities on traumatic brain injury, Dr. Kelly serves as Executive Director of the Marcus Institute for Brain Health and Professor of Neurology at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and Fellow of the American Neurological Association (FANA), and has published extensively on brain injury, concussion management, and the neurological consequences of repeated head trauma.

He advises Oragenics on clinical strategy, scientific positioning, and the translation of ONP-002’s mechanism of action for clinical and investor audiences.

A world-renowned researcher and clinician in emergency medicine and traumatic brain injury, our Chief Clinical Officer currently serves as Vice Chair for Emergency Medicine Research at Baylor College of Medicine. A globally recognized speaker specializing in biomarkers of traumatic brain injury, he brings direct clinical trial expertise that supports the design and execution of our Phase 2a program.
